'GOOD HUMOUR MIGHT BE THE BEST FACET A DRIVER CAN SHOW TO THE WORLD'.
The renowned Greek philosopher, Aristotle, (384-322 B.C.) reasoned that 'sense experience is our only source of knowledge and, by reasoning, we can discover the true meaning of things - that is, their distinguishing qualities'. In his work, on ethics, he suggested that human happiness consists of living in conformity with nature. He derived his theory from the recognition that mutual aid is natural to man-kind. Other subjects occupying his mind included politics and logic.
Based upon his ideal beliefs it has been reported that he held the opinion that the world continues on a de-generate decline. We have decided, already, that history repeats itself: it might be as well accepting that history turns like a wheel and that the world, and civilisation, only ever achieve a level of competence which is acceptable to all people. The deliberations might be likened to the tide which ebbs and flows in it own time with little thought for the antics of man-kind.
People drift, without thinking abort thinking and by-pass important problems which occur in every day life, Life should not be taken for granted: we should not abuse our society: ethics should not be disarranged or de-valued
Aristotle advocated reason and moderation.
It is true to say that Aristotle displayed a balance mind: it might not be true thinking that he could have been a skilful driver of a motor vehicle but, certainty, it is reasonable believing that he might have been an excellent, tactical driver. We should all like to think that he would have taken the whole subject seriously with a thoroughness of mind. It is extremely dis-courteous suggesting that ever could he have displayed any kind of road rage.
An angry driver is rarely reasonable: a reasonable person is seldom angry'.
Experts, pundits and, perhaps, many people will meditate and have their own solution to the problem of harmonizing the vast number of drivers, from all walks of life, using the Kingdom's high-ways and by-ways and, to this end, we have hinted at changing the insurance system for the betterment of road users and reducing hassle. This subject is important, extremely important! Time will decide.
If we have achieved anything along the way together- success is to hand if, now, at last, the title can be changed to..................!
